HOLLYWOOD EXECUTIVE PLANS TO REMAKE FILIPINO MOVIE

Topnotch Hollywood executive Steve McPhee of CaliFilms has expressed interest in producing a remake of a critically acclaimed Filipino film Echorsis: Hairpulling Between Good And Evil.

In an exclusive interview with HollywoodBuzz, McPhee said that he is interested in the material because of its universal message of love and forgiveness and its bold statement of homosexuality and religion.

"Hollywood needs original materials like Echorsis," he explained.

Echorsis, starring Filipino comedian John Lapus and independent actors Kean Cipriano and Alex Medina are still showing in Philippine cinemas. It is a parody of a classic horror film "The Exorcist."
